Hot Tub Cheat Sheet
I) Never Add ANY chemicals to tub within 30 minutes
of each other.
II) Wait 30 minutes prior to going into tub after
any chemicals are added.
III) Always add powdered chemicals into tub with all pumps on high.
Hot Tub Start Up Steps = Numbers
Water Maintenance Steps = Letters
1- Fill Tub with Water 5 inches from top of Tub
2-Add 125 ml of Prevent II to Tub.
A-Add one cap of Prevent per Week
3-Wait until tub @ 80’F or hotter
4-Add 90g of Chlorine Granules.
B-Always test for Chlorine levels prior to use. Add 30g of Chlorine Granules after every use.
C- Add 15g of Spa-Shock per ½ hour of usage in last 48 hours.
D- Test Alkalinity and PH Levels weekly. Adjust as needed. LOW levels will turn the water to ACID and DESTROY your Tub.
